Ideas For Sunday School

THis thread will help some of us tell some Sunday school ideas so that we may share them and help build all of our Sunday school Ideas.

I will start in June I am having fun days in my class I teach 1 though 6 grade girls



June 7th - Is crazy sock/ stocking day

June 14th- Is fancy hat day

June 21st - Is flower day they ware flowers either on dresses or hair or maybee a neckless

June 28th- Is formal day ware you best you have.



I will decorate class room and have snack around theise thems of the day. It is something fun and cheap we can do that adds a little fun to the class.

Great ideas! Something I do with my class, is we have a 200 Club. They get a sticker for coming, bringing Bible, knowning memory verse, and bringing a vistitor. When the sticker chart gets filled up (I don't give individual awards...cause some are church kids who would always win, and many are bus kids..so it's a group effort) we have a class trip on a Saturday. May be a movie at teacher's house, may be a picnic at the park - last Saturday it was a trip to play mini golf and then ice cream Sundaes at McD. Takes about two months to fill the chart.

That is fine. I thought this thread could help everyone sometimes it nice to get some idea that we might not think of. I am sure you have some great ideas Tiger. You will have to share them sometiem with us.

One Retrival method we have used is bring a plate of cookies or brownies to the kids house on saturday with a coupon for a big prize if they bring it back on a specific sunday

I used this in my class and the kids loved it


I made pizza

The crust represented you before Christ
The sauce represented Jesus blood and your put that on the crust that is you after you have been saved
Then I took cheese and used it to represented following God's and getting baptized
Then I used pepperoni you could use any meat or topping and had each one represent a work.

Like telling other about Christ handing out a tract
Cleaning church
working in nursery
doing a music special
any thing you want to use is fine

THen the pizza looked really good with all the topping and I told them the better the pizza looked it represented the closer walk with God you have.

I know have kids telling me every time they eat pizza they think of it and it reminds them of JESUS!

I had a little extra time in class today so I had to think up something. We reviewed some books of the Bible: Matthew-Romans. On one side of the whiteboard I wrote:
Matthew
Mark
Luke
John
Acts
Romans

and on the other side I wrote:

John Mark Romans

Matthew Luke Acts

We reviewed the first set in order. Then I erased those and went to the next set. I pointed at one and asked which book comes after it. I saved the last one (Romans) to see if anyone could answer correctly. One kid knew it.

but remember that it looks good, but isn't really appreciated by others till after it has been through the fire (baked).

Amen, through the fires and trials we succeed in the christian life. As for some they are just half baked
